Addressing a press convention, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut alleged that social gathering MLAs had been kidnapped and brought to Surat. To buttress his level, MLAs Kailas Patil and Nitin Deshmukh narrated their model of how they escaped the insurgent camp led by Eknath Shinde. Patil instructed the media, “We had been trapped and brought to Surat, I walked a kilometre to run away from there. We won’t ditch Shiv Sena which has made us MLA”.
Reaching out to the rebels, Raut added, “MLAs mustn’t talk from Guwahati, they need to come again to Mumbai and talk about all this with CM. We’re prepared to think about exiting out of MVA if that is the need of all MLAs, however for that, they’ve to come back right here and talk about it with the CM.”
