The Taliban has carried out a gender segregation plan within the western Herat province, a media report stated on Friday.
Males will not be permitted to dine with relations in household eating places, Khaam Press reported citing sources in Herat province.

Riazullah Seerat, a Taliban official on the Ministry for Promotion of Advantage and Prevention of Vice, stated that the ministry has issued a directive requiring Herat’s public parks to be gender-segregated, with women and men approved to attend solely on separate days.
“We instructed ladies to go to parks on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday,” he continued. “The opposite days are put aside for males to go to for leisure and train.”
Again in March, the Taliban had issued an identical order, banning women and men from going to amusement parks on the identical day.
